A Clash of Kings - George R.R. Martin Martin still sometimes feels like an obnoxious twelve year old who just discovered the words "fuck" and "cunt" but it at least seems like he's telling stories now instead of just doing awful things to his only likable characters. I like the increasing religious tension in here and the slow creep of magick. But do I really want to spend another like THREE THOUSAND pages on these characters? And whatever happened to that comet everybody was so nervous about?
