The Cat's Table - Michael Ondaatje My favorite thing about Ondaatje is that he has a couple of ideas that he loves so much - burned hands, knowing a house so well that you can jump around in it while blindfolded, two people falling into water together, an object passed between mouths - that he can't help but include them in every single book he writes.
